“A voice that sings the Lord rises to Heaven lifting with it many souls…, and as the harp of the Spirit, it unveils a breath of Divinity…”

Nizar Fares
, a young singer and artist endowed with a beautiful voice, his “heavenly gift”, has been brought up in a family known for its artistic taste and spirituality.

Attracted to art, music, and hymns, he sang canticles in several occasions throughout his school and university years. This has deservedly gained him the title of “School Singer”…and thus he participated in several choirs…

Thirsting for musical culture, he drew his interpretations from the repertoires of the greatest Arab and classical composers. Admiring classical popular singing, he performed in several concerts and recitals in Lebanon and in some Arab and European countries. It seems “fate” did not predispose this “soloist singer” to the universe of profane music!

Holder of a university degree in Agronomic Engineering, he pursued his musical studies at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) where he got an Oriental singing Diploma and a master in Musicology.

Teacher of music and hymns and a devout CHRISTIAN satiated with an unwavering faith, living the ecclesial ecumenical openness and preparedness, he directly works for the service of the Word of God, sung and proclaimed … wishing to unite his life with the Holy Bible, within his capacities and through the spiritual blessings he was granted. He has embarked on this mission because he was born “to perform on stage,” as his American professor of classical singing once described him in one of his graduate classes.  Nizar opted to perform on the “holy stage” which – added to his exceptional charisma, creative capacity, and vocal versatility – allowed him to bear witness to his choice and to spread the Word of God in minds and hearts…

Despite all the different changes and difficulties, Nizar never lost his faith in the Lord and maintained his self-confidence: He continued his path led by spirituality... He will undoubtedly follow the path which he has chosen for himself and will live it according to the Will of God.

“The Word became Flesh”, “I Depend on You My Lord”, “Thou hast opened the gates of Heaven for us”, "No damnation", "By the time", "I rest in You", also for children "A break", and "Colors", are some titles of his CDs of hymns that have been produced, issued, and presented in the last few years by Nizar, some of which he made into music videos, and with many more still under production. This rich itinerary allows us to attribute to Nizar Fares what Prophet Ezekial said: Come and hear what word has come from the Lord now. So my people crowd in to hear what you have to say … For them you are … an entertainer singing love songs or playing a harp …” (Ezekiel 33:30-33).

Praise the Lord so your joy may become complete: “We sing to You, O Lord, You have revived us … May Your Word in our hearts deliver us forever”
